The Cambridge Illuminations

The Cambridge Illuminations formed a spectacular exhibition of world-class illuminated manuscripts - many on public view for the first time - dating from the sixth to sixteenth centuries. Cambridge is among the world's richest treasuries of Western manuscripts. The exhibition took place from August 2006 to December 2006 at the Fitzwilliam Museum and at the Cambridge University Library.
