John Everett Millais, The Bridesmaid, 1851

A modern update of pre-Raphaelite artist John Everett Millais’ The Bridesmaid. The original painting depicts a popular Victorian ritual in which the young woman passes a piece of wedding cake through her ring nine times, after which it is said that the image of her true love will appear in the mirror before her. In this playful card she receives a makeover for 2020, donning a floral mask to match her silk dress.

A face mask inspired by the orange blossom motifs of The Bridesmaid is also available.
